Our Music Ministers glorify God through song and share their many musical talents as the Covenant Community of Infant Jesus gathers to celebrate its sacramental life. A love of music and an interest in praising God through music are all that is required to join the Music Ministry.

      At Infant Jesus, we are fortunate to have a force of highly qualified people who serve the Covenant Community as organists, musicians, choir directors and cantors. It has always been the practice of all of our musicians to offer a wide and varied repertoire of music. Attend a Sunday Mass and you may hear all sorts of music ranging from Gregorian chant and the works of the great masters, to African-American spirituals, Bi-lingual Spanish music, traditional African songs, and the best of all contemporary music.

      There are always opportunities, for people of any age, to join one of the four choirs that meet regularly throughout the year. Family Mass Choir - Grades 3 and up, including adults. Must be willing to make a definite commitment to the choir. Family Mass Choir rehearses on Thursdays, from 4:00 to 5:00 pm in the Infant Jesus Chapel at St. Charles, and prays and sings together at the 11:30 Sunday Mass at Infant Jesus Chapel at St. Charles. Adult Choir - Grade 8 through adults. Must be willing to make a definite commitment to the choir. The Adult Choir rehearses on Tuesdays, from 7:30 to 9:00 pm in the choir loft at Infant Jesus Church, and prays and sings together at the 10:30 Sunday Mass at Infant Jesus Church. Spanish Choir - The Spanish Choir is open to people of all ages. Must be willing to make a definite commitment to the choir. The Spanish Choir prays and sings together at the 9:00 Mass on Sunday at Infant Jesus Church. For information contact Jim Dilger at 751-5915.

Youth Choir - High School age and up. Must be willing to make a definite commitment to the choir. The Youth Choir rehearses on Sundays at 4:00 in the choir loft of Infant Jesus Church, and prays and sings together at the 5:00 Mass in the Church. The Youth Choir is always open to High School aged musicians to join their ensemble. For information contact Kathy Granata at 981-9438.

Cantors - Infant Jesus Church is always looking for qualified musicians with excellent sight-reading skills, performance discipline and flexibility. Must be comfortable leading large congregations with an ability to think on your feet. Must be trained by the Director of Music and willing to attend further trainings and workshops. Musicians/Instrumentalists - Qualified musicians sought to complement and enhance existing Parish ensembles.
