Prayer Chain Ministry
Our Ministry
The Infant Jesus Prayer Chain Ministry is a special spiritual ministry and community of prayer. Through the benefits of today’s digitally connected world, the prayer requests of the people of our parish and greater community can be easily sent to a group of “prayer-ers” connected via e-mail to each other in a Prayer Chain. These dedicated men and women have made a commitment to raise their steady voices in supplication, worship, praise and thanksgiving to our loving and merciful God for the causes nearest and dearest to our hearts.
Join Our Ministry
Praying for one another helps form us into a community and allows us to love and encourage each other in a powerful way. Our goal is to get the prayer requests out to the largest number of “Pray-ers” as possible. Please take a moment and consider becoming one of “Pray-ers.” For more information on how to become, and what it takes to become one of our “pray-ers”, please click on the prayer chain ‘JOIN’ button (above, right.)
Add a Prayer Chain Request
Do you have a prayer request? Are you or a loved one in need of healing, comfort, strength? Do you have a special cause or devotion that can be aided by the strength of prayer? Is there something in particular for which you wish to give thanks? The reasons for prayer are infinite. The Infant Jesus Prayer Chain is dedicated to adding their voices to yours, please click on the prayer chain ‘ADD button (above, right.)
How We Can All Participate
As good practicing Catholics, we should all, as St. Paul says in his letter to the Thessalonians, pray continually. As part of our prayers, even if we are not a Prayer Chain “Pray-er,” we can include all those intentions that are listed by the Prayer Chain in our daily prayers by including, for example, the following prayer:
“Lord, in your mercy, please hear our prayer for all those who have requested your aid and intercession through the Infant Jesus Prayer Chain. In thanksgiving, we give you all praise and glory for all Your loving graces.”
