The major function of the Mass Team Captains is to assist all liturgical ministers in participating fully and uniformly at all our Eucharistic celebrations.  Mass Team Captains must be blessed with general organizational skills and be able to plan, lead, and delegate so that assigned tasks are completed.  The Mass Team Captain is responsible for getting to know all members of their team, scheduling all liturgical ministers for their Mass, keeping an updated list of liturgical ministers for their Mass, and passing on information and communications from the Pastoral Staff and the Office of Music & Liturgy.    They must also have contingency plans in the event of last minute changes in the schedule. The Mass Team Captain, in conjunction with the priest, takes responsibility for providing a prayerful atmosphere in which all present can feel welcome and able to participate fully in the Mass.
