Religious Education 2026/2027 Information
REGISTRATIONS OPENING SOON FOR THE 2026-27 RELIGIOUS EDUCATION YEAR
" Parents have shared the gift of human life with their children and, through Baptism, have enriched them with a share in God's own life. They have the duty to nourish it. Their faith, their attitude toward other human beings, and their trust in a loving God strongly influence the development of the child's faith. Parents are catechists precisely because they are parents. Their role in the formation of Christian values in their children is irreplaceable...parents, pastors, catechists, and teachers need to cooperate closely to ensure that the catechesis offered children is truly an ecclesial catechesis that is consistent with Christian values lived in the family. Pastors have a serious obligation to assist parents and educators in their mission to hand on the faith to future generations. School-age children should receive formal and systematic catechesis in a parish-based catechetical program…”

IS GOD CALLING YOU TO BE A CATECHIST?
“How then are they to call on Him in whom they have not believed? How are they to believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how are they to hear without a preacher?” Romans 10:14 The word catechist originates in the words “echo and word”. Are you called to “echo the WORD of God” to His little ones? Are you in love with Love, Himself, Jesus? Are you a practicing Catholics who live the Faith in line with the teachings of the Magisterium? Perhaps YOU are who God is calling. Weekly Holy Hour of Reparation
Let us take the time to kneel before Jesus present in the Eucharist, in order to make Reparation by our faith and love for the acts of carelessness and neglect, and even the insults which our Savior must endure in many parts of the world. Let us deepen through adoration our personal and communal contemplation, drawing upon aids to prayer inspired by the word of God and the experience of so many mystics, old and new. Adoration makes Reparation for the great faults and crimes of the world. – Pope St. John Paul II
